Hi folks,

Yoga theory states;
that by practising Yoga regularly we can achieve three things;
1, we strengthen our musculoskeletal system
2, we condition our nervous system( something very few practises do)
3, we become aware of our own SUBTLE energy systems.
Our subtle energy system comprises of numerous Chakra's along with the Chinese meridian system and several other, even more subtle energy flow systems. Which incidentally overlap. We then have intersections or plexus's of energy.These determine or control our more obvious and gross physical functioning.Examples would be the digestive system, sleep regulatory system and endocrine system to name but a few.
Therefore by regularly practising yoga we start learning to discern our own energy systems. Over time we learn to become aware, when necessary, where there are blocks.
These systems do get frequently blocked and we can, before any serious issues arise from these blockages, address the areas's concerned.
Therefore we can keep tabs on our health using our own checking system. Discerning what,how and when our system needs attention.
We will adopt a typical Hatha format of warm up sequences into a strong standing session. The last hour of the workshop will comprise of rejuvenating and calming ending postures. Overall we will pay particular attention to the poses that develop the subtle energy systems of the body.
This workshop will be on Saturday November the 3rd.
At 10.30am
and will finish at 11.30pm.
and will cost £30.00.
